Racers Grand Prix is a premier Track and Field Meet, showcasing the best of Racers T&F Club, Jamaica and the World. The meet is held to aid in the development of Jamaica’s athletics and that of the Racers T&F Club.
Jamaica’s Track and Field is enjoying its greatest level of success in the country’s history. The current pool of world class athletes residing and training in Jamaica presents a great environment for staging world class athletics.
Track and Field fans in Jamaica and the wider region will certainly give their overwhelming support to a meet of this nature.
In addition, the country’s geographic position is ideal, with the United States and most of the Caribbean islands in fairly close proximity.
This will ensure solid participation from some of the best athletes in the world. The meet will be held in the month of June each year.
